Awesome

I do not know where these people are getting that it is not worth it. I have been going there since it opened and the food is incredible, as well as the service. The atmosphere is beautiful with a very cool feeling. The live jazz on the weekend gives a very warm and comfortable feeling. You cannot beat the quality of food for the price and atmosphere. Del Frisco's prices are nearly double.

not worth it

Been there twice for dinner and both times it was not great... you'd get a much better deal at texas land and cattle or texas roadhouse... service was awful as well. Definately NOT worth the price.. they are trying to be like Del Friscos or Bob's but they don't even come close to their quality... if you want a high end steak house choose Del Frisco's or Bob's.. if you want a decent steak at a decent price go to TX Land and Cattle or TX Roadhouse.

A TOTAL RIP-OFF

My husband & I went there for our anniversary. For starters, the waitress was very pushy and not very friendly. Then we were "offered" spring water, but never told it would cost us $5.50 per bottle. For the entree, I ordered grilled salmon and it was the most tasteless salmon I had ever had -- even with the sauce. I could tell it was not good quality salmon, yet they charged $26 for it. My husband had the bacon wrapped petite fillets which he said was very good, but also said he's had steaks just as good at other places for about $10 less. I will gladly pay higher prices for exceptional food and overall dining experience, but JR's fell way short on quality for what they charge. I was very disappointed.

Great Place

The atmosphere and food are terrific. You cannot beat the calamari anywhere. The bar is great, with relaxing live music on the weekends. Really terrific service.

The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet, intimate evening with your spouse or close friends. The decor is very elegant and tasteful. The service is fabulous, and the food even better. You can't lose in taking the special people in your life to J.R.s.
